挪威的森林是寫：活著的人感受死亡（尤其是自殺）的青春悲鳴。青春年少面對死亡像是面臨森林深處一灘霧氣朦朧的湖面，讓人焦躁看不清，一腳陷入泥沼。青春善感，深刻並不等於接近事實。

閱讀這本書時發覺自己看這本書已經太老，但也因此看得完，看得清：青春的森林深處深邃清寂，卻是最肥沃滋養時。

聽到披頭四的歌聲，我才感受到那個時代的聲音，才瞭解這本書書寫的背景氛圍。
